“This song emerged during one of my many homeward drives from my office in Tauranga to my family farm in Maketu during 2014. It is my melodic ode to the auburn glory of an autumn sunset over the Papamoa Hills and the Te Puke plains.In my office at the time, I looked out at the brick wall of the office adjoining block. Work was a bit of a grind and I couldn’t even see the sky.
